Your gift will help Jacksonville commemorate its 200-year history!
The Jacksonville Historical Society, in partnership with several community organizations representing Arts & Culture, Business & Industry, Education, Environment, Faith, Government, Health & Wellness, Media, Nonprofit, and Sports & Entertainment, are planning programs and events throughout the entire bicentennial year 2022. A community festival will be held downtown Saturday, June 11, 2022, beginning at noon and ending with fireworks at Riverfront Plaza at the base of Laura Street.

Noon: Performances and other family-friendly programming in James Weldon Johnson Park
3 p.m. Opening Ceremony
4:15 p.m. Parade from James Weldon Johnson Park down Laura Street to Riverfront Plaza
5 p.m. Live Music, Multiple Bands
9 p.m. Headliner Band
10 p.m. Fireworks Display
Laura Street Live!
Noon to 5 p.m. Historical displays, food trucks, Jacksonville vendors, exhibits, re-enactors and more!
