Jacksonville's Endangered Historic Properties 2022

Join us on Wednesday, May 18, at a luncheon at Old St. Andrew's Church, where we will share our annual list of Endangered Historic Structures, in observation of National Historic Preservation Month, celebrated annually in May. This program helps us remain true to our mission to strengthen citizenship by engaging and educating Jacksonville’s people about their history, through preserving and sharing the evidence of the city’s past, and by advocating the value of historic preservation.

The program will be presented by William H. Bishop, member of the Jacksonville Historical Society Board of Directors and chair of the Historic Sites Committee. Bill is president and principal of Akel, Logan and Shafer, Architects and Planners. He is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and of University of Detroit Mercy with Master of Architecture and MBA degrees.

For those who have health risks, please note that table rounds of 8-10 will be set up for the presentation.

Old St. Andrew's Church is located next to 121 Financial Ballpark and across the street from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. Free parking is available in the grass lot on Duval Street.
